Together with Air Canada Express regional partners, the airline operates an average of 1,500 scheduled flights each day and serves approximately 35 million customers annually.

With experience that can be traced back to 1937, when Air Canada’s predecessor Trans-Canada Airlines (TCA) inaugurated its first flight, the company grew to become Canada`s national airline. Today, approximately 27,000 people worldwide, including Air Canada Express personnel, are employed to make the company the success it is today.

Voted Best Airline in North America, Air Canada is proud to claim Winner of the Skytrax 2013 Award for the fourth consecutive year. This award is given after an annual survey run by the air transportation industry, ranking customer satisfaction on airlines` product and service standards.

In 2013, independent U.K. research firm Skytrax also ranked Air Canada as the only international network carrier in North America to receive a Four-Star ranking which is considered an airline industry benchmark and recognizes a carrier’s Airport and Onboard Product and Service Improvements.

With touch-screen TVs at every seat, passengers can choose from over 600 hours of on-demand entertainment, including XM Satellite Radio, movies, TV shows, sports, and games.

Travelling with Air Canada couldn`t be easier, especially with ESTA – Electronic System for Travel Authorization. Since 12 January 2009 all travellers (including infants and children) from participant countries in the Visa Waiver Program must obtain their travel authorization at least 72 hours prior to departure to the USA. Children and infants must also be registered.
