Air Canada offers daily nonstop flights from Toronto to Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Chile and Peru and direct flights to Argentina with immediate connections to all Canadian cities and destinations in US, Asia and Europe. We also operate nonstop flights from Toronto and Vancouver to Mexico.
Air Canada is Canada’s largest airline and the largest provider of scheduled passenger services in the Canadian market, the Canada-U.S. trans-border market and in the international market to and from Canada. In 2012, Air Canada together with its Air Canada Express regional partners carried close to 35 million passengers, offering direct passenger service to more than 175 destinations on five continents. Air Canada's predecessor, Trans-Canada Air Lines (TCA) inaugurated its first flight on September 1st , 1937. The 50-minute flight aboard of a Lockheed L-10A carried two passengers and mail between Vancouver and Seattle. By 1964, TCA had grown to become Canada's national airline; it changed its name to Air Canada. The airline became fully privatized in 1989. Air Canada is the 15th largest commercial airline in the world by traffic and employs 27,000 people. Its corporate headquarters are located in Montreal.

Air Canada has major hubs in three Canadian cities (Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver). Its extensive global network provides scheduled passenger service directly to 59 Canadian destinations, 51 destinations in the United States and 67 in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Mexico and South America. Air Canada and its Air Canada Express regional partners operate approximately 1,500 scheduled flights each day on average. Air Canada is the only international network carrier in North America to receive a Four-Star ranking according to independent U.K. research firm Skytrax. In 2013, Air Canada was ranked for a fourth consecutive year “Best International Airline in North America” in a worldwide survey of more than 18 million airline passengers conducted by Skytrax. According to the 2012 Canadian Business Travel Survey conducted by Ipsos Reid, Air Canada was the preferred airline for more than 79 percent of frequent business travellers in Canada. In 2012, readers of Global Traveler magazine voted Air Canada “Best Airline in North America,” the readers of Business Traveler voted Air Canada "Best North American Airline for International Travel" and "Best In-Flight Services in North America," and the readers of Premier Traveler voted Air Canada “Best North American Airline for Business Class Service,” “Best North American Airline for International Travel” and “Best Flight Attendants in North America.”

Customers seeking enhanced comfort and service on international flights will have the option of booking in Air Canada’s new Premium Economy cabin, beginning July 2013 on Montreal-Paris flights when the first of Air Canada’s five new Boeing 777 aircraft enter the fleet. In addition to the introduction of Premium Economy, new seats and a leading edge entertainment system, Air Canada’s five new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will provide customers with a refreshed interior colour palette in modern, neutral tones unique to these aircraft pending the official launch of Air Canada’s future in-flight product and cabin design that will be made in conjunction with the introduction of Boeing 787 aircraft into its fleet.
Air Canada’s 37 Boeing 787 aircraft will feature a brand new, enhanced version of Air Canada’s award-winning Executive First lie-flat beds and product that has yet to be announced, in addition to Premium Economy and Economy options. The Boeing 787 fleet will be deployed on the carrier’s current and future high premium demand international routes.

Air Canada has formed an integrated leisure group combining its tour operator business, Air Canada Vacations, with its new leisure airline, Air Canada rouge (aircanadarouge.com). The leisure airline announced its first 14 routes serving popular holiday destinations in Europe, the Caribbean and Central America starting in July 2013.
