Redeem points and take off: your BenefitFreeFlight for your next business trip

Why not simply pay for your next business flight with BenefitPoints? FreeFlights are available in all booking classes from First Class to Economy Class from the Lufthansa Group airlines – Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, Lufthansa, SWISS – and lots of other partner airlines.

How many points do you need for your FreeFlight?
    • In the following tables you can find an overview of all flight routes.
    • Or use our points calculator for particular flight routes.
FreeFlights can be booked with the following airlines:
    • Lufthansa, Lufthansa City Airlines, Austrian Airlines , Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, Swiss International Air Lines and United Airlines.
    • Codeshare flight numbers cannot be booked.
Advance booking periods:
    • In the case of FreeFlights an advance booking period of 3 days before departure applies.
    • Please note the opening times of the PartnerPlusBenefit Service Center.
Payment:
    • Each route segment is paid for separately with BenefitPoints – for an outbound and return flight double BenefitPoints therefore apply.
    • If you transfer across national borders (e.g. Vienna - Frankfurt - New York) the relevant number of BenefitPoints for each pair of countries applies.
Taxes and charges:
    • In the case of BenefitFreeFlights the usual airport taxes and charges apply.
    • We will inform you in your email booking confirmation about the amount of taxes and charges.
    •  On European and Intercontinental flights operated and marketed by Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, SWISS, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings, you can also pay for these taxes and charges using BenefitPoints. The points value is determined by your PartnerPlusBenefit Service Center based on flight route and a fixed points value (rounded up to the nearest 10 points).
    • Exception : Please note that Payment of Taxes against BenefitPoints is currently not possible for companies registered in Kenya and Ethiopia.
Rebookings and cancellations:
    • You can rebook BenefitFreeFlights once free of charge up to one working day before departure. Working days of our Service Center teams are listed here.
    • If the routing / operating airline of a BenefitFreeFlight is to be changed this requires a cancellation of the original flight.
    • For every further rebooking 50 Euro or optionally 15.000 BenefitPoints will be charged.
    • Cancellation is also possible for a fee of 50 Euro or optionally 15.000 BenefitPoints.
    • Taxes and charges for the unused FreeFlights will be refunded in full.

    BenefitFreeFlights can be booked on direct flights and transfer connections (transferring over national borders and within a continent), depending on availability.
