Redemption for FreeFlights is available from First to Economy class on Lufthansa, Air Canada, Austrian Airlines , Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, Lufthansa City Airlines, Air Dolomiti, Swiss International Air Lines and United Airlines.

How many points do you need for your FreeFlight?
    • In the following tables you can find an overview of all flight routes.
    • You can use our points calculator as well for particular flight routes.
FreeFlights can be booked with the following airlines:
    • Lufthansa, Lufthansa City Airlines, Air Canada, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, Air Dolomiti ,Swiss International Air Lines and United Airlines.
    • Lufthansa Express connections with Lufthansa flight number.
    • Codeshare flight numbers cannot be booked.
Advance booking periods:
    • In the case of FreeFlights, an advance booking period of three working day before departure applies.
    Exception: Australia/Newland - 7 working days before departure applies.
    • Please note the opening times of the PartnerPlusBenefit Service Center. Please click HERE for the working hours of your respective country at the time of request.
Payment:
    • Each route segment is paid for separately with BenefitPoints – for an outbound and return flight double BenefitPoints therefore apply.
Taxes and charges:
    • In the case of BenefitFreeFlights the usual airport taxes and charges apply.
    • We will inform you in your email booking confirmation about the amount of taxes and charges.
    • On European and intercontinental flights operated and marketed by Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, SWISS, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings, you can also pay for these taxes and charges using BenefitPoints. The points value is determined by your PartnerPlusBenefit Service Center based on flight route and a fixed points value (rounded up to the nearest 10 points). On domestic flights inland Germany, Austria or Switzerland taxes cannot be paid with BenefitPoints.
    • Please inform the PartnerPlusBenefit Service Centre which payment option you prefer at the time of reservation.
Rebookings and cancellations:
    • You can rebook BenefitFreeFlights once free of charge up to one working day before departure.
    • For rebooking a BenefitFreeFlight to a different route/airline than originally booked, cancellation and rebooking are required.
    • For every further rebooking, 50 Euros (or optionally 15.000 BenefitPoints) will be charged along with applicable tax difference.
    • Taxes and charges for the unused FreeFlights will be refunded in full.
    • Cancellation is possible for a fee of 15.000 BenefitPoints or optionally EUR50 up to one working day before departure.

Further details on the award:
    • United Airlines FreeFlight bookings are only eligible for customers registered in India and Sri Lanka.
    • Air Canada FreeFlight bookings are only eligible for customers registered in India, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Myanmar, Indonesia, Pakistan, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Philippine and Brunei.
    • BenefitFreeFlights can be booked on direct flights and transfer connections (transferring over national borders and within a continent), depending on availability.
