SWISS SHOP is a joint project between SWISS International Air Lines and Lufthansa WorldShop.
Since 2002 this Lufthansa subsidiary company (trading as Lufthansa WorldShop since 2004) has brought together Lufthansa’s retail activities aimed at the end customer: customers can buy goods either in the air on board Lufthansa long-haul flights, by mail order or in the airport shops.
Since 2004 SWISS International Air Lines and Lufthansa WorldShop have been cooperating in the areas of on-board sales, mail order and stationary trade (airport shop).
Passengers on long-haul routes can purchase around 180 branded items at low prices: Duty Free ‘classics’ such as perfumes and exclusive cosmetics, watches and jewellery and also, increasingly, consumer electronics such as digital cameras and mobile phones.
SWISS SHOP mail order offers a diverse range of more than 250 products. On www.swiss-shop.com consumers can choose, for example, a rucksack for their next trip, a coffee machine or a smart handbag from the categories ‘Travel & Luggage’, ‘Sports & Wellness’ and ‘Lifestyle & Accessories’.
A core competence is luggage, including classics such as the specially branded aluminium and polycarbonate series from Rimowa, as well as other trolley cases and travel bags developed in partnership with leading manufacturers.
In addition, the SWISS SHOP offers branded goods from the areas of consumer electronics, jewellery, accessories and many more.
